What is a sanctions screening match?

A sanctions match is when your screening tool flags a counterparty as potentially matching an SDN list entry. It's not a confirmed violation — it's an alert requiring investigation. True match: the counterparty IS the SDN (block the transaction). False positive: similar name, different person (document and dismiss).
